Where it all began

It was March 30th, 2024, in the breathtaking landscapes of Costa Rica—a day that would mark a monumental turning point for our founder, Onur Güney. Little did he know, this was the beginning of a journey that would reshape his life and, eventually, give birth to The Youniversal Order. That morning, Onur awoke feeling like something was different, but he couldn't yet grasp the magnitude of the change unfolding within him.

Having checked out of his hotel in Guanacaste, he headed to the local airport in Tamarindo to catch his flight back to London. With four hours to spare before his departure, Onur decided to spend the time exploring the nearby town. The laid-back nature of Costa Rica greeted him everywhere he went—the security, airline staff, and baggage handlers all seemed to move in sync with the flow of life, each interaction in tune with the spirit of Pura Vida.

Onur's day, however, was about to take an unexpected turn. After checking in, he left the airport and strolled toward the town, passing by the farm where the airport was located. As he walked past two cows grazing nearby, he suddenly heard a voice in his head.

“Take a photo of us.”

Confused, but intrigued, Onur turned to face the cows. He laughed off the oddity of the moment, yet something compelled him to listen. But just as he began to continue walking, he heard the voice again:

“Where’s your passport?”

This time, Onur responded in his mind, “It’s in my pocket.”

He instinctively reached into his left pocket—only to discover that his passport was not there. Panic set in. In a moment of realization, he spun around, desperately scanning the ground behind him. There, about 10 meters away, lay his passport. Onur couldn’t help but laugh at himself as he picked it up.

As a small token of appreciation for the strange but meaningful encounter, Onur walked back toward the cows, took a deep breath, and snapped two photos. To his astonishment, one of the cows seemed to smile back at him, while the other posed with a straw in its mouth. At that moment, Onur knew something deeply significant had happened, though he couldn't yet articulate exactly what it meant.

The Smiling Cow

The Posing Cow

A couple of months later, back in London, Onur was gazing up at the clouds on a typical overcast afternoon. A familiar image caught his eye—a cloud formation in the exact shape of the Smiling Cow - this was a message and Onur understood what it meant. In that moment, everything became clear: the world, nature, and life itself were all interconnected in ways he had never before imagined. The message from the cows was a reminder to appreciate the fragility and beauty of existence. It was a call to cherish each moment, for every part of life is precious and special.

This profound awakening marked a turning point in Onur’s life. In honor of his newfound perspective, Onur made a conscious decision to become a vegetarian, aligning his lifestyle with his deepened appreciation for all living beings.

This experience ignited a journey toward self-discovery, one that would eventually give rise to The Youniversal Order. At the heart of this brand is a powerful message: everything in the universe is interconnected. The cows, the clouds, the passport—each represented the reminder that the universe communicates with us in mysterious ways, encouraging us to pay attention, embrace the present, and live with intention.

Our journey began with a cow, a smile, and a profound realization that the world is far more beautiful and meaningful than we often perceive. And as you join us in this movement, we hope you’ll take this message with you: The universe is always speaking to us—sometimes in the most unexpected ways. And in listening, we unlock the potential to create a life of harmony, fulfillment, and deep connection.

We look forward to having you with us on this incredible journey.
